Asphaltene Treatments

Temperature changes from down hole to surface allows paraffins to deposit and slow production flows. Asphaltenes often confused with paraffins, and these compounds will accumulate in pressure, flow and temperature reduction areas. Both paraffins and asphaltenes can reduce flow and result in very costly batch treatments and even cause tubing, pipe and equipment failures resulting in costly replacements.

We’ll take samples of your asphaltenes to determine the type of substance you’ve got. When we know what we’re dealing with, we’ll be able to customize a dispersant and tell you what dosing and temperatures are needed to keep it from congealing. We don’t only give you a chemical treatment plan, we give you new processes and protocols to make your facility run at optimal levels.
